Job Summary:
We are looking for a Foam Operator to help manufacture doors. In this role, you will operate foam machines, inspect product quality, complete production reports, perform basic machine maintenance, and work with the production team to meet daily goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate the foam machine used in door manufacturing.
- Monitor machine settings and product quality.
- Record daily production and scrap reports.
- Perform basic machine maintenance and chemical calibration.
- Check measurements and inspect finished products for quality.
- Read work instructions, blueprints, and production schedules.
- Use a forklift or pallet jack to move materials (if trained).
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
- Meet daily production and quality targets.
- Work overtime when required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Previous manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to communicate in English (reading and writing not required).
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and decimals).
- Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable following instructions and adapting to changes.
- Basic computer skills are a plus.
