About the Position

• Requirements: Active Board Certification, ABEM or ABFM w/ experience, Active PA License or IMLC, ACLS.
• Schedule: Variety of shifts. 3-4 day stretches per week. Need is ongoing. Mon-Sun - 9p-7a; 7a-5p; 9a-6p; 11a-9p; 2p-12a.

• Usually 2 APPs per shift. 1 APP overnight
• Annual volume: 60,000
• ED physicians begin their shift by assessing the current status of the department. They review patient charts, EMS
  arrivals, any pending labs/orders. They discuss with providers currently on shift and those going off shift-for patient
  handoff. There are times the ED is at capacity, and we have patients in hallway beds and in the waiting room.
• Continuous patient evaluation and treatment. Consultation and coordination across specialties, managing boarding
  and patient flow, and documentation and charting.
