Project Coordinator, Regulatory Compliance

Title: Project Coordinator, Regulatory Compliance Industry: Autonomous Vehicle / Technology Location: Miami, FL Duration: Approximately 6 months Responsibilities Manage the end-to-end vehicle registration and autonomous vehicle permitting lifecycle across applicable state and local jurisdictions, including applications, renewals, amendments, and decommissioning. Coordinate with Manufacturing, Operations, Legal, Regulatory Affairs, Engineering, and other stakeholders to collect, verify, and submit required documentation, including VIN verifications, MCOs, and inspection records. Maintain accurate compliance records and tracking systems for vehicle identification, registrations, permits, expiration dates, filing deadlines, eligibility changes, and renewals. Support internal audits, regulatory inquiries, and external inspections by providing organized, traceable documentation and responding to information requests. Translate evolving regulatory requirements into scalable internal procedures, controls, and documentation standards while identifying workflow gaps and resolving issues that may affect vehicle readiness or deployment. Requirements 4+ years of experience in compliance, regulatory operations, permitting, fleet management, vehicle administration, or a related function. Strong organizational, time-management, and attention-to-detail skills, with the ability to manage high-volume, deadline-driven documentation workflows. Experience maintaining records and tracking registrations, permits, renewals, filings, or other time-sensitive compliance obligations. Strong written communication and cross-functional collaboration skills across legal, regulatory, operational, technical, and manufacturing teams. Proactive, ownership-oriented approach with the ability to work independently and adapt to evolving regulatory, operational, and fleet requirements.
