Director of AP (Accounts Payable)

A rapidly growing healthcare company is seeking a Director of AP to build and scale a high-volume accounts payable and treasury function supporting a large, multi-site organization.

The Director will build AP infrastructure, implement software-driven workflows, and create reliable, scalable processes and controls suitable for a large healthcare network.

Responsibilities

• Build, train, and lead an AP team capable of supporting significant growth and transactional volume
• Build scalable AP workflows, processes, and reporting frameworks
• Establish, document, and maintain AP policies, procedures, and internal controls
• Oversee accurate, timely processing of high volumes of invoices, payments, reconciliations, and reporting
• Lead cash flow planning, payment scheduling, forecasting, and treasury oversight
• Partner with the Director of Accounting on month-end close, financial operations, and system optimization
• Maintain a strong sense of urgency, ownership, and accountability across the AP and Treasury team

Requirements

• AP and treasury leadership experience within the SNF industry required
• Intaact and Stampli experience required
• Demonstrated success building and scaling AP and treasury operations in a large, high-volume, multi-site environment
• Strong leadership background with proven ability to build teams, create structure, and implement department-wide workflows
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to support operators, accounting, compliance, and executive leadership
• Deep understanding of cash management, payment cycles, treasury oversight, and financial controls
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities, tight deadlines, and large-scale operational demands with urgency and accuracy
