Joseph, Greenwald & Laake, P.A., an AV-rated, 40+ attorney law firm with offices in Greenbelt and Rockville, MD, seeks a highly motivated, enthusiastic and experienced paralegal to support trial lawyers in its Rockville location.Duties Will IncludeHandling all aspects of propounding and responding to discovery;Document management, review and indexing or summarizing;Deposition, hearing and trial prep and assistance;Discovery and trial subpoenas;Client interaction and support; andWorking with expert witnesses.Applicant Must Also PossessA positive and friendly attitudeThe ability to work independently, multi-task, and operate efficiently in a fast-paced environment, supporting various litigatorsStrong experience in legal research, including Westlaw and/or LexisNexisAbility to prepare and edit subpoenas, simple motions, and other correspondenceExcellent verbal and written communication with strict attention to detail, and organization, and have the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentKnowledgeable of e-filing, calendaring, etc.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.JGL offers a friendly, business casual atmosphere, a competitive compensation package and excellent benefits (e.g., fitness reimbursement, new child care leave, free parking, etc.).
