Advanced Practice Provider (APRN/PA) - Primary Care (Pool)Primary Care APP at Behavioral Health Hospital The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) provides general and specialty medical and/or surgical services to individuals, families and groups, emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention as well as diagnosis and management of acute and chronic diseases. The APP will have an opportunity to practice autonomously and collaboratively within their established scope. All TGH team members are responsible for performing job duties in accordance with the mission, vision and values in accordance with Tampa General Hospital.Responsibilities —Primary CareDaily primary care assessments and associated documentation following evidence-based practicePrimary care consultation and evaluationCommunicate with other primary and behavioral health care team members to collaborate on the management of complex patients with psychiatric illnessRequest, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic and laboratory tests and take appropriate actions as medically indicated in accordance with departmental protocols; identify and report signs, symptoms, problems, or potential problems requiring further assessment, communication, and/or intervention to promote positive outcomesWork autonomously as well as in collaboration with a variety of individuals to diagnose and manage clients' health care problemsTechnical Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesDemonstrates current knowledge and level of expertise utilizing evidence- and theory-based practice, infection control standards, and clinical evaluations in providing care to clients in clinic or hospital-based settings, as evidenced by following established protocolsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic medical records (EMR) systems, preferably EpicAbility to multitask in a dynamic environmentStrong written and oral communication skillsOutstanding customer service and conflict resolution abilitiesQualificationsCurrent licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant in the State of FloridaFamily Nurse Practitioner Certification or Physician Assistant CertificationExperience in primary care/family medicine preferredPrimary Location: ValricoOther Locations: TampaWork Locations: Family Care Center Valrico 2211 Lithia Center Ln Valrico 33596 Eligible for Remote Work: On SiteJob: Advance Practice ProviderOrganization: Tampa General Medical GroupSchedule: Per Diem/Pool Scheduled Days: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, SaturdayShift: Day JobJob Type: On Site Shift Hours: 8am-5pmMinimum Salary: 50.00
