About the Position:
Established medical clinic seeking a professional, dependable, and bilingual (Spanish/English) Medical Receptionist to join our front office team.
The Medical Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for patients and plays a key role in creating a positive and efficient office experience. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare setting. Being tech savvy with EHR/EMRs, Google Drive, Google Suite and AI tools like Gemini, ChatGPT, Claude is a plus.Responsibilities:
- Greet and check in patients in a courteous and professional manner.
- Answer multi-line phones and schedule appointments.
- Verify insurance eligibility and benefits.
- Collect co-pays and balances.
- Manage patient intake forms and documentation.
- Process referrals and authorizations (preferred).
- Maintain accurate records within electronic medical systems.
- Coordinate with providers and clinical staff.
- Follow established office policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Fluent in Spanish and English (required).
- Minimum 1 year medical front office experience preferred.
- Familiarity with HMO, PPO, and Medi-Cal plans (preferred).
- Experience using electronic medical record systems.
- Strong customer service and organizational skills.
- Professional demeanor and positive attitude.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Google Drive, Google Suite and AI tools like Gemini, ChatGPT, Claude.
