Description What You'll Be Responsible For

• Execute both routine and advanced clinical laboratory tests, including but not limited to chemistry, hematology, and immunology, following established protocols.
• Evaluate results for accuracy, troubleshoot any discrepancies, and conduct preventative maintenance alongside instrument calibration.
• Provide assistance with specimen collection and appropriately prepare samples for testing as necessary.
• Document procedures meticulously, conduct training for new staff and students, and sustain high-quality lab standards.
• Ensure the lab environment remains safe and clean while adhering to regulatory and accreditation requirements.

Education

• Holders of a Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent allied health degree, along with ASCP/AMT certification preparation are preferred.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) is required within one year of being hired.
• Ongoing maintenance of current certification throughout your employment is essential.
