This position is a fully remote role, allowing greater flexibility for both the therapist and clients. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct Initial Assessments: Meet with families and individuals to evaluate their situations, identify challenges, and understand their relational dynamics.

• Therapeutic Interventions: Provide evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored to the family’s unique cultural backgrounds and needs.

• Client Education: Educate clients about the impact of specific behaviors on their relationships and well-being.

• Solution Development: Collaboratively create a strategic roadmap for addressing issues, helping clients to work toward desired outcomes effectively.

• Facilitate Healing Processes: Assist clients in navigating grief, enhancing stability within homes, and improving educational environments for children.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our client population includes diverse families and couples facing a myriad of challenges, from communication breakdowns to crisis management. Therapists should demonstrate sensitivity and adaptability when working with clients from various cultural and socio-economic backgrounds.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field.

• Active and valid LMFT license as mandated by the state of Maryland.
\n
• Strong foundational knowledge in the principles and practices of family therapy.

• Proven ability to create trusting therapeutic alliances with clients in both individual and family dynamics.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, showcasing a genuine desire to help others.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of experience as a marriage or family therapist in an outpatient setting.
