Pay Rate: $19.57 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM How This Role Works: Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment. Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed. Responsibilities: Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, including medical emergencies, disruptive behavior, and access‑related concerns. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facility interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points and visitor activity, report unusual conditions, and assist with directing patients and visitors to appropriate areas. Document incidents, observations, and daily activities in accordance with site procedures and Allied Universal requirements. Minimum Requirements: Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
