Job Overview

Waga Energy is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Entry Level Customer Sales Representative to join our dynamic team in a 100% Remote , Full-Time capacity. As a global leader in the renewable energy sector, Waga Energy specialises in upgrading landfill gas into grid-compliant Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) using our patented WAGABOX® technology. By joining our organisation, you will play a crucial role in our mission to combat climate change by providing a clean, local, and renewable energy source. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a passion for sustainability to begin a rewarding career in sales within an innovative and rapidly growing industry. The anticipated salary for this role is between $57,000 and $72,000 USD per annum , dependent on experience.

Responsibilities

As a Customer Sales Representative, you will be instrumental in identifying new business opportunities and nurturing client relationships. Your primary responsibilities will include:
* Proactively identifying and qualifying new sales leads through research, networking, and outreach.
* Engaging with potential clients via email, telephone, and virtual meetings to understand their energy requirements.
* Clearly and compellingly presenting Waga Energy’s innovative solutions and value proposition.
* Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting relationships with new and existing clients.
* Collaborating closely with the wider sales and technical teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities in our CRM system.
* Working towards and achieving individual and team sales targets.

Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate with a passion for sustainability and a drive to succeed in a sales environment. While direct experience is not essential, the ideal candidate will possess the following:
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally with diverse stakeholders.
* A highly motivated, self-starting attitude with a strong work ethic.
* A genuine interest in the renewable energy sector and Waga Energy's mission.
* Strong organisational and time-management skills.
* Proficiency in using standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
* A willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, innovative industry.
* Previous experience in a customer-facing role, such as sales or customer service, would be an advantage but is not required as full training will be provided.
