Duties:

• Enter and maintain employee information regularly for exempt, status (rates, titles, etc.), and payroll information in HRIS system.
• Post-payroll: review exempt staff changes.
• Track and maintain performance evaluations regularly for exempt staff (including but limited to the review of goals, gaps, entering dates, introductory period extension).
• Prepare Performance Evaluation reports for distribution to management.
• Audit employee accrual profiles for introductory period extension as needed.
• Review post payroll reports to ensure accurate coding and personnel changes
• Rehires – prior to first payroll (review coding, accruals, custom fields, etc.)
• Track and maintain CDLs and car insurances; prepare monthly report/s & distribute to management.
• Track and maintain employee records: certifications, licensure, registrations, etc.; prepare monthly report/s & distribute to management.
• Assist with monthly purge of HR Scans, on the 1st of each month. 
• Contact employee or Concentra if TB follow up is required.
• Assist on personnel audits (ensure updated required documents are on file, prepare spreadsheet outlining missing documents to ensure compliance - employee certifications, licensure, background clearance, etc., label documents according to audit tool, group documents as needed).
• Main back-up: coordinate, schedule, and conduct new hire orientations to include preparation of new hire paperwork and ensuring all proper documents are received.
• Verify SSN against SSA’s website
• Main back up to process: Verify Comply, Sex Offender, Office of Inspector General, Megan’s Law and notify HR Director if information does not match.
• Create and/or update procedures for each function.
• Assist with annual open enrollment processes.
• Other tasks will be added as position develops or as needed. 
• Regular attendance required.
• Cover main reception area as needed, answer phones, distribute mail, greet guest and direct them to correct location, etc. Review procedures for further details.

Minimum Qualifications - Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resource Management or related field from accredited university. 
• Minimum of five (5) years of direct Administration or Human Resources experience.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office including, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain detailed information at all levels.
• Ability to represent the Agency in a professional manner on the phone and in person.
• Ability to plan, organize, and follow through on a consistent, timely and accurate basis.
• Ability to relate effectively to all levels of staff, applicants, and outside agencies.
• Ability to exercise sound and professional judgment.
• Ability to work as a positive team member.
• Ability to be resourceful and driven.
• Must be a self-starter and be able to work independently.
• Must be able to multitask and remain composed under pressure and deadlines.
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
