We are seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team at our Parkside Recovery Program in our Germantown location in Philadelphia, PA location.

The Medical Assistant will:

prepare rooms for examination
maintain steady flow of individuals in medical department
prepare electronic charts for providers
assist providers with the examination of individuals
measure vital signs
draw and collect bodily fluids, prepare specimens for laboratory analysis.
respond to medical emergencies
complete EKGs
complete required documentation in a timely manner

Earn $19.24 per hour (40 hrs per week)

A qualified candidate will possess the following qualifications:

High School diploma or G.E.D.
Medical Assistant valid certification
Certification in phlebotomy preferred.
Minimum of one (1) year working as a medical assistant, preferably in a behavioral health setting.
Must be able to work: Monday-Friday, 6:30-3:00 pm
