What You\'ll Be Doing Own key areas of the accounting cycle while bringing a fresh lens to how the work gets done. Dig into reconciliations, reporting, processes, and workflows to uncover opportunities for greater efficiency, consistency, and control. Help elevate the Accounting function by introducing best practices and more scalable approaches from environments you have experienced before. Partner with a highly tenured team, combining their deep knowledge of the business with the outside perspective you bring. Strengthen processes, controls, and segregation of duties while helping create clearer ownership across the function. Identify opportunities to leverage technology, automation, and emerging tools to modernize accounting processes and eliminate unnecessary manual work. A BACKGROUND THAT FITS 3-6 years of progressive accounting experience with strong accounting fundamentals and broad exposure. CPA strongly preferred, with consideration for someone actively completing the CPA process. Public accounting experience is highly attractive, particularly for someone ready to take that foundation and make an impact inside one organization. A combination of public accounting and industry experience would be equally compelling. Exposure to multiple clients, industries, or accounting environments with an understanding of what strong accounting processes look like. Naturally curious, analytical, and improvement-minded with the ability to see beyond the task in front of you.
