Department:Guest Experience and Public Programs Supervisor:Guest and VolunteerServices Manager Employment Type:Seasonal,Part-Time, Non-Exempt Compensation:$17.25per hour TheEvent Staffassistwith the day-to-day operations of Caramoor’s Events, including assisting with venue load-in,assistingguests inside the theaters and on our grounds, and guiding vehicles to parking spots. Event Staff playan important rolein our guest experience, so this is a great position for someone who is warm,friendlyand outgoing. Thisposition is seasonal and based on the schedule of Caramoor programs, June through August, Thursday – Sunday,afternoonsand evenings.A full schedule of events will be available March 10th at caramoor.org. Job Duties & Responsibilities Assistin venue setup and cleanup Direct vehicles to appropriate parking areas Control traffic flow between vehicles and pedestrians Manage guest flow in and out of venue Help enforce venue policies Required Skills and Qualifications ExperienceAbility to learn on the job isa must. No experiencerequired, however experience in customer service or working events is a plus. Background or experience in the arts/music is a plus. Customer Service and Communication SkillsMust have a friendly and professional attitude and work well with others.Be compassionate andaccepting ofthose of different ages,backgroundsand experience.Goodinterpersonal and verbal communication skillsdesired. Working ConditionsAbility to work in a busy environment with the public, maneuver outdoors in all weather conditions, on woodland trails, gravelpathwaysand lawns.
