Hours per Shift: 12 hours (07:00 - 19:00)

Experience: Minimum of 1 year required

License: Valid state license required

Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS, RRT

Must-Have: Previous experience with adult critical care and various respiratory therapy procedures.

Description: Position will float between units: No. On-call requirement: No. Weekends required: Yes, every other weekend. Block schedules required: Yes. Expected patient ratios: 3 patients per therapist. Must have experience in arterial punctures and administering medication. Patient age groups include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Daily patient census and number of visits per day may vary. Special procedures involve family maternity and OB experience including C-sections. Interdisciplinary support includes collaboration with various healthcare teams. Essential skills include aerosol setup, BiPAP, CPAP, intubation assistance, and pulmonary hygiene. Required equipment experience includes various ventilators and respiratory devices. Travelers may be expected to float between nearby facilities. Commitment to working three of the five major holidays is expected. References covering prior work experience are required.
