Pharmacist - Home Infusion

Location: Philadelphia, PA Pay Rate: $72/hour Employment Type: Temporary (with potential for hire) Start Date: ASAP Schedule: M-F, 8:30am - 5pm

What You'll Do
- Review and verify prescription orders for accuracy, appropriateness, and safety
- Provide clinical guidance and collaborate with prescribers to resolve discrepancies
- Dispense medications with a focus on proper dosing, administration, and patient-specific needs
- Deliver patient consultations, including education on home infusion therapies
- Complete DUR checks and maintain detailed patient records and documentation
- Navigate insurance authorizations and resolve claim denials
- Support oversight of pharmacy operations, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance
What We're Looking For
- A current, up-to-date resume
- Active pharmacist license in good standing (PA or eligible)
- Pharm.D. or BS Pharmacy degree from an accredited program
- Required: Recent home infusion pharmacy experience
- 23 years of pharmacy experience preferred
- Experience with Brightree Pharmacy System is a plus
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local pharmacy regulations
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced setting
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to meet compliance requirements
