Child & Family Enrichment Home Visitor

Best Point Education & Behavioral Health is seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and family-focused Child & Family Enrichment Home Visitor to support families with children from the prenatal stage through age five.

In this role, you'll work directly with families in their homes and communities to strengthen parenting skills, promote healthy child development, connect families with resources, and help create safe, nurturing environments where children can thrive.

As a Home Visitor, you'll build meaningful relationships with families and partner with them to identify goals, navigate resources, and support their child's development during the critical early years. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Social Work, or a related field, or a combination of education and relevant experience.
• Experience providing home-based services or working with childrenbirth through age five preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, time-management, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to establish trusting and respectful relationships with children and families.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with families, community partners, and internal teams.

Compensation & Benefits

Starting pay: $20.00 per hour, depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

Family Support & Home Visiting

• Conduct regular home visitswith families and provide individualized parent education and support.
• Build trusting, respectful relationships with parents, caregivers, and young children.
• Partner with families to identify strengths, establish goals, and develop strategies that support healthy family functioning and child development.
• Utilize trauma-informed and family-centered practices to respond to the unique needs, strengths, and experiences of each family.
• Empower caregivers to advocate for their children and participate actively in their child's development and services.

Child Development & Early Intervention

• Support families in understanding and promoting children's developmental, social-emotional, cognitive, and physical growth.
• Complete developmental screenings, assessments, and other required evaluations.
• Coordinate developmental evaluations and help families understand available services and recommendations.
• Support transition planning as children move between programs and services.
• Participate in Individual Family Goal Planning meetings and help families monitor progress toward established goals.

Community Resources & Care Coordination

• Connect families with community resources, social services, healthcare providers, early childhood programs, and other supportive services.
• Help families navigate systems of care and access resources that meet their individual needs.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with community agencies and service providers.
• Collaborate with internal Best Point teams and external partners to coordinate services and promote positive outcomes.
• Advocate for children and families when appropriate.
