Corporate Tax Manager

Corporate Tax ManagerAs the Corporate Tax Manager, you will be part of the Corporate Tax Solutions Family, working on business income tax planning, corporate compliance, and ASC 740 income tax accounting (provision preparation or audit support). You will manage multiple client engagements, supervise and mentor staff, and work collaboratively with specialists across the firm including the Washington National Tax Office (WNTO). This role requires delivering high-quality work while maintaining strong client relationships and adhering to professional standards.Key ResponsibilitiesManage client engagements from planning through execution, including budgetingSupervise, train, and mentor senior associates, associates, and interns; perform in-charge role when neededIdentify opportunities to sell services to existing and prospective clientsReview tax returns and ASC 740 provision engagements for accuracy and complianceResearch, consult, and provide guidance on complex tax mattersRespond to IRS, State, and other tax authority inquiriesUnderstand client operations and business objectives for effective service deliveryMaintain confidentiality and professional standardsParticipate in professional development and trainingPerform additional duties as assignedQualifications & SkillsBachelor's degree in Accounting (Master's or JD preferred)CPA (GA or reciprocity) or JD/active law license4–7 years of progressive tax compliance / consulting experiencePublic accounting experience preferredStrong knowledge of corporate income tax and ASC 740 Accounting for Income TaxesProficiency in US GAAP, corporate tax laws, and regulationsBroad-based knowledge of state/local taxes, international tax, and transfer pricingExperience with Onesource Tax Provision preferredStrong analytical, communication, interpersonal, and presentation skillsDetail-oriented, with ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple priorities
