Immigration Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks an Immigration Attorney for a full-time, on-site position in Charlotte, NC. The attorney will manage a diverse caseload, providing legal services in family-based petitions, employment visas, removal defense, asylum, and naturalization. Duties Meet with clients to assess legal options and strategies. Prepare and file petitions and applications with USCIS and other agencies. Draft briefs and legal correspondence. Represent clients at hearings and interviews. Maintain detailed case records and stay current on immigration law changes. Collaborate with support staff in a multilingual practice. Requirements Strong knowledge of U.S. immigration law and issues. Experience advising on and preparing visa applications. Ability to analyze complex legal issues and develop strategies. Commitment to serving diverse communities. Proficiency in Spanish or Arabic is highly beneficial. Ability to work on-site in Charlotte, NC, and manage a busy caseload. Education Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Certifications Active bar membership in any U.S. state; eligibility to practice immigration law nationwide. Skills Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills. Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail. Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
