Registered Nurse ICU

Job Summary:
Provides specialized nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU setting, ensuring the delivery of safe, effective, and compassionate care in accordance with established standards and protocols. Supervises and collaborates with healthcare team members to coordinate comprehensive patient care and optimize outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions by collecting and analyzing relevant health data to identify critical needs.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans targeting stabilization and recovery.
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and utilize advanced interventions for critically ill patients.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless communication.
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and post-discharge care requirements.
• Evaluate patient progress and adjust care strategies to meet evolving clinical needs.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Possess current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
• Demonstrate previous experience in an acute care or ICU environment preferred.
• Show strong critical thinking, clinical judgment, and supervisory skills.
• Have a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
