What You'll Do
- Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients in a fast-paced ER setting.
- Assess patient needs, formulate and implement individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient treatment.
- Monitor patient condition and respond effectively to emergencies.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, procedures, and post-discharge care.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with hospital standards.
- Adhere to safety protocols and infection control procedures at all times.
What You Need
Required:- Valid RN license in Louisiana
- Minimum of 2 years of ER or acute care experience
- Current BLS, CPI, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Certification in a clinical specialty within emergency care
- Experience working night shifts in high-volume ERs
