Service Associate ECLARO is looking for a Service Associate for our client in Livingston, NJ. ECLARO's client is one of the largest mutual life insurance companies and provides long-term care insurance, mutual funds, and retirement-plan services across the US. Training provided for consultants who demonstrate a strong work ethic and eagerness to learn. Client is seeking dependable, customer-focused professionals to join the Client Services team. This role is ideal for individuals who are motivated to learn the financial services industry and develop expertise in mutual fund operations. This is a phone-based customer service position requiring excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a problem-solving mindset. Associates will support registered representatives and shareholders by resolving account inquiries, processing transactions, and maintaining high-quality service standards. Responsibilities Participate in a structured 2-3-month training program focused on mutual fund operations and client servicing. Research account records and transaction history to resolve inquiries from registered representatives and shareholders. Process account transactions, including redemptions, exchanges, and account maintenance updates. Provide accurate, thorough, and professional responses regarding mutual fund accounts and investments. Conduct quality reviews of transactions processed by fellow associates to ensure accuracy and compliance. Handle inbound customer calls and make outbound follow-up calls to existing customers as needed (no sales calls). Collaborate effectively within a team environment while maintaining individual accountability. Apply strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve customer issues efficiently. Qualifications Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Professional phone etiquette and strong customer service orientation. Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Interest in learning about financial services and mutual funds. This role involves heavy phone communication with clients, customers, and internal stakeholders. Consultants must possess excellent phone etiquette, strong interpersonal skills, and exceptional verbal communication abilities. The ability to communicate clearly, professionally, and confidently while handling a high volume of calls. Preferred Skills Previous experience in a professional corporate environment. Knowledge of mutual funds, investment products, or financial services. Dependable, motivated, and committed to learning. Receptive to coaching and feedback. Able to thrive in an intensive training environment. Customer-focused with a strong desire to resolve issues effectively. Detail-oriented and capable of maintaining quality standards.
