Mobile Radiologic Technologist - Full-Time

Location: Latham, NY
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM + 1 weekend per month
Sign-On/Relocation Assistance: Up to $10,000 with a 1-year commitment

We are seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join a growing mobile imaging team serving patients throughout the Capital District of New York.

This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced technologists and new graduates . The technologist will travel to various patient-care settings and independently perform portable X-ray and EKG examinations at the patient's bedside.

You will primarily serve patients across Albany, Schenectady, Rensselaer, and Saratoga counties , with most patients being geriatric.

• Perform portable X-ray and EKG examinations independently in various patient-care settings.

• Travel to nursing homes, assisted living facilities, correctional facilities, and patients' homes.

• Obtain high-quality diagnostic images while following radiation safety and imaging protocols.

• Provide compassionate, professional patient care while maintaining patient dignity and comfort.

• Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, facility staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.

• Maintain accurate examination records, documentation, and equipment.

• Manage a daily mobile schedule across multiple locations.

• Adapt to different clinical environments and patient needs.

Typical workload: Approximately 7-8 locations per day , depending on the schedule.

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.

• Current New York State Radiologic Technologist License .

• ARRT certification/registration required.

• Current CPR/BLS certification required.

• Ability to independently perform portable X-ray examinations.

• Strong communication and patient-care skills.

  • 50% paid upon hire

  • Remaining 50% paid after completion of one year

• Company vehicle provided for local travel

• $400/month contribution toward employee health insurance

• Paid vacation:

  • 0-36 months: 3 weeks

  • 36-60 months: 4 weeks

  • 60+ months: 5 weeks

• Six paid holidays annually

• No overnight travel required

• Weekend on-call compensation available

This is a mobile imaging position , not a traditional hospital-based role. Technologists travel directly to patients and perform examinations at the bedside in:

• Assisted living facilities

• Correctional facilities

• Patients' homes

• Daytime Monday-Friday schedule
