Key Qualifications:

• Valid Illinois (IL) State License in Special Education or related relevant discipline
• Professional Educator License (PEL) required
• Demonstrated experience working as a Special Education Teacher and/or Case Manager within a school environment
• Strong expertise in supporting students with multiple and complex needs
• Exceptional communication, organization, and documentation skills
• Ability to adapt instructional methods and strategies to meet individual student goals

Primary Responsibilities:

• Manage the educational programs and case files for a small caseload of four students with varied, complex needs
• Develop, implement, and regularly review IEPs (Individualized Education Plans) ensuring compliance with all regulations and requirements
• Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, families, and other professionals to create coordinated support strategies
• Provide direct instruction and interventions tailored to each student’s strengths and areas of need
• Maintain up-to-date documentation and reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness for all student records
• Attend relevant meetings, trainings, and planning sessions as required by the school and district
