Part-time Veterinary Receptionist (Care Coordinator) - Cumberland Animal Clinic PetVet Care Centers' Cumberland Animal Clinic is currently seeking a Part-time Veterinary Receptionist (Care Coordinator) to join our team! Position Overview As a Care Coordinator , you will contribute to a high‑performing organization committed to delivering superior care and exceptional service. You will perform a range of administrative and customer service tasks, supporting the hospital’s operations. Key Responsibilities Provide excellent customer service in-person, over the phone, and during high‑stress situations. Manage lobby flow, address concerns, calm distressed owners, and schedule appointments. Handle basic medical emergencies for pets and owners, ensuring safety and well‑being. Assist with medication pickups, inquiries, and provide information about services and products. Input and manage data in practice management software, including billing and accounts. Assist with retail sales, weigh pets, process faxes, and maintain records. Reconcile cash drawer and perform end‑of‑day duties for accurate financial transactions. Qualifications (Required) High school diploma or GED required, or equivalent combination of education, certification, training, and/or experience. Must have prior experience in a veterinary medicine setting. Preferred Skills (Nice to Have) Previous care coordinator / receptionist / customer service experience in a veterinary medicine setting. Schedule Wednesday, Thursday, Friday: 7:45 pm – 6:00 pm (times may change with prior notice) Every other Saturday: 7:45 am – 2:00 pm PetVet is an equal opportunity employer.
