Patient Account Associate

Providing exceptional service, the full-time remote Patient Account Associate will manage payment postings, resolve account discrepancies, and initiate payer recoupments while ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. Key responsibilities Research and validate payment postings, making necessary adjustments to ensure accurate account handling Initiate and follow up on payer recoupments and refunds to achieve timely account resolution Navigate various payer claim portals and communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders Required qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required One (1) year of experience in hospital or physician back-end revenue cycle management required Knowledge of Medicaid and Medicare billing regulations required Understanding of medical terminology and payment handling processes Ability to operate computers and office equipment effectively
