Manager, Compliance

AbbVie seeks a Manager of Compliance to serve as strategic advisor to the Office of Ethics and Compliance leadership. This role identifies and drives cross-functional compliance initiatives, manages project execution, conducts risk assessments, and supports operational excellence across the global compliance program.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute strategy to advance the compliance program, identifying and leading strategic projects annually
• Partner with OEC stakeholders to assess support needs, provide resources, and drive initiative momentum
• Create, manage, and execute project plans including presentations and implementation materials
• Conduct compliance risk assessments, trend analyses, and recommend best practice business activities
• Support compliance reporting, including Board-facing materials and critical documentation

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in any field
• Minimum 5 years experience in compliance, legal, audit, finance, or regulatory affairs
• Exposure to compliance program strategy, risk assessment, or program effectiveness concepts
• Strong project management, strategic thinking, and analytical skills
• Excellent written and oral communication with proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Ability to work independently with sound judgment and high initiative
• Change agility and ability to synthesize information across multiple functions
