Establishes plans and strategies to select the right distributors and enable them to increase their sales of ErectAstep brand products. Reports to Vice President – ErectaStep Sales. Key Responsibilities: Supervises ErectaStep Regional Area Sales Managers (RAMs) including training, performance management, coaching, etc. Coordinates sales plans by establishing RAM sales territories and sales goals. Works closely with Commercial leadership, Engineering, and Production on all large projects by coordinating communications including, but not limited, to organizing/participating in internal and external project meetings. Assists Sales team members, customers or distributors in determining appropriate corrective action for any order discrepancies. Analyzes competitor activities and assesses opportunities for business development. Drives to exceed revenue targets and KPl ‘s as set by the Chief Commercial Officer. Networks with distributors and other businesses across the territory build mutually beneficial relationships . Resolve customer complaints regarding sales and service. Review operational records and reports to project sales and determine profitability. Determine price schedules and discount rates. Prepare budgets and approve budget expenditures. Monitor customer preferences to determine focus of sales efforts. Collaborate with Marketing team to plan marketing services and efforts. Represent company at industry events and conferences to build business opportunities. Develops sales strategies to target new accounts. Follows industry news to identify opportunities for new business. Provides oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services. Other duties as business needs dictate. Requirements 5+ years leadership experience in an Industrial B2B sales environment preferred. 10+ years’ experience in Industrial Sales to distributors or distribution channel experience in related industries preferred. Excellent people skills and ability to build relationships with people at all organizational levels. Results oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. Demonstrated aptitude for problem-solving; ability to determine effective solutions for internal and external customers. Results-orientated and able to manage multiple projects in parallel. CRM experience is preferred. Proven track record of building business and hitting sales targets. Demonstrated success in understanding customer/market dynamics and requirements. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to travel overnight 50%+ as required by role and territory. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite applications and contact management software. Ability to master use of product configurator software.
