A family owned wholesale / distribution company in West Hills is looking for a part time Bookkeeper & Accounts Receivable Analyst to join their team.
(Ideal work schedule is 5 days/week, 6 hours/day, FT in office. Able to be flexible.)
The Bookkeeper & Accounts Receivable Analyst is responsible for:
- Receiving payments (cash and check), reconciling payments with open invoices, and applying payments appropriately.
- Collaborating with the sales teams to resolve payment discrepancies, billing issues, and inquiries.
- Working directly with the customer in a professional and courteous manner to collect outstanding invoices or resolve discrepancies in a timely and efficient manner.
- Assisting the Accounting team in resolving any issues that arise from the bank reconciliation process or through day to day operations.
- Collaborating with the accounting team and other departments as needed.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of accounts receivable and/or general bookkeeping experience.
- Strong communication skills and professionalism.
