Responsibilities

Kforce's client, an outstanding Long Island, NY-based independent CPA firm, is seeking a detail-oriented professional as a Bookkeeper for their growing Accounting Services/QuickBooks team.Summary:The Bookkeeper will participate in providing bookkeeping services using QuickBooks and QuickBooks Online for clients in various industries. You should possess basic understanding of financial/accounting principles and tax compliance, able to maintain efficiency and accuracy while serving a portfolio of clients.Responsibilities Include:

• Review and adjust client's books and records
• Bookkeeping for clients using QuickBooks desktop and online
• Assist with the preparation of compiled financial statements
• Process payments
• Post accounts receivables, client payments, accounts payables and payments

Skills

• 5+ years of bookkeeping experience
• Experience with QuickBooks desktop and online
• Willingness to work in office on a hybrid basis

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.


We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
