Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Join our team as an RN in the Operating Room, providing comprehensive surgical nursing care across various specialties such as ENT, General, Gynecology, Neurology, and more. Responsibilities Include Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in accordance with physician orders. Developing individualized care plans and utilizing evidence-based practices. Managing patient assignments, delegating tasks appropriately, and supporting patient and family education. Ensuring patient rights and facilitating discharge planning using community resources. Mentoring and precepting new staff, participating in quality improvement initiatives, and maintaining compliance with department standards. Qualifications Current RN license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Minimum of 1 year of Operating Room experience, including circulating and scrubbing roles. Department-specific certifications may be required; a BSN is preferred. Skills And Abilities Effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Strong knowledge of the nursing process and clinical judgment. Physical Requirements: Prolonged standing, lifting, patient maneuvering, and exposure to infectious agents and chemicals.
