Electro‑Mechanical Reliability Technician

Schedule: 3:30 PM – 1:30 AM (or until close) | Location: Jacksonville, FL | Employment Type: Full‑Time

A night on the floor

When most of the building winds down, your shift begins. You start with a walkthrough, listening for the subtle hints machines give off—vibrations, heat, a relay that doesn’t snap quite right. A forklift needs attention before the final pick, a pneumatic valve is lagging, and production has a hydraulic press scheduled for a quick-change at midnight. You plan your moves, lock and tag what needs isolating, and keep the line moving safely.

What you’ll handle

• Execute scheduled preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and extend asset life.
• Inspect, repair, and service mechanical assemblies and forklifts to keep material flow steady.
• Troubleshoot, install, and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems with speed and accuracy.
• Create and close work orders, track activities, and update equipment history using the FIIX CMMS platform.
• Complete end‑of‑shift checks so the facility is primed for the next production cycle.
• Follow all safety rules, including lockout/tagout procedures, every time.
• Read and interpret electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics as well as technical drawings.

What you bring

• High School Diploma or GED, plus a valid driver’s license.
• At least three (3) years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Hands‑on skill in troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and maintaining hydraulic, pneumatic, and/or electrical equipment.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics with confidence.
• Quick learner who adapts to new tools, technologies, and evolving procedures.
• Familiarity with FIIX CMMS or a comparable maintenance management system.
• Comfort working in loud, hot, humid, and greasy conditions.
• Willing to work overtime and weekends when the operation requires it.
