Key Qualifications:

• Active state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
• Familiarity with IEP process and ability to collaborate on goals
• Proven skills in therapies related to sensory integration, fine motor development, and adaptive strategies
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, educators, and families
• Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive classroom experience

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct therapy services per ESY program requirements
• Evaluate students to identify functional needs and goals
• Develop and implement individualized plans (IEPs) tailored to each student
• Collaborate closely with special education staff, including Amanda Taylor OT, teachers, and administrators
• Support classroom modifications and adaptive equipment as needed
• Maintain accurate records, documentation, and progress reports
• Engage in regular team meetings to support student achievement
