Director, Global Healthcare Economics & Reimbursement Strategy

Haemonetics seeks a Director of Global Healthcare Economics & Reimbursement Strategy to develop value-based selling capabilities and economic models for hospital business portfolios. This newly created role will translate healthcare economics into customer-facing narratives and support large-scale strategic partnerships with health systems and payers.

Responsibilities

• Build health-system-specific economic models, cost-effectiveness analyses, and budget impact models for Value Partnership deals
• Partner with Clinical Research and Medical Affairs to design real-world evidence studies aligned to payer expectations
• Develop value narratives, economic tools, and payer-facing materials with trackable KPIs
• Equip sales organization with training and messaging to lead conversations on economic value and patient outcomes
• Support reimbursement strategy and coding initiatives, collaborating with Government Affairs on CMS engagement

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred (MBA, MPH, MHA, or related)
• 10–12+ years in healthcare economics, reimbursement, health policy, or market access
• Experience in medical devices, healthcare consulting, or provider systems strongly preferred
• Proven track record supporting large strategic deals with health-economic evidence and ROI tools
• Strong understanding of hospital financials, IDN structures, and value-based care models
• International healthcare economics experience and cross-cultural stakeholder engagement
• Exceptional executive presence and communication skills with senior healthcare stakeholders
