About the Position

Candidates must have experience in cardiovascular surgery. Specific cases include Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Repair, Carotid Endarterectomy, and Coronary Artery Bypass Graft. Candidates should be able to scrub, circulate, and document equipment effectively. Additional surgical experience in general, endo/laparoscopic, and thoracic procedures is preferred. The position involves occasional weeknight on-call duties and one weekend of call per month. Ability to manage equipment and maintain a sterile environment is required. Candidates are expected to have knowledge of safety protocols and universal precautions. Experience in a fast-paced surgical environment is essential. This role supports an average of 25 cases per day in a 14-room operating suite. Candidates should possess strong communication skills and work effectively within a team. The ability to respond promptly to emergencies and adapt to evolving situations is critical. Documentation of patient care and procedures is mandatory.
