In this role, they will mentor mid-level developers, set engineering standards, and champion best practices in code quality, accessibility, and performance and collaborate closely with designers, back-end engineers, product owners, and mission stakeholders to deliver intuitive, secure, and reliable user experiences that meet evolving customer and program needs. Drawing on deep technical expertise and strong problem-solving skills, they will help guide architectural decisions, drive continuous improvement, and ensure front-end components operate effectively within enterprise-grade systems.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the design and development of responsive, high-performance user interfaces using Node.js, React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSSArchitect modular, maintainable, and scalable UI component libraries aligned with modern engineering standardsMentor and provide technical guidance to mid-level and junior frontend developers, including reviewing code, coaching on best practices, and supporting skill developmentIntegrate frontend applications with backend .NET services using REST APIs, JSON, and XMLDrive client-side state management patterns, rendering optimization, and performance tuning for enterprise-grade applicationsCollaborate closely with UX/UI designers, backend engineers, and product owners to ensure seamless end-to-end functionalityEstablish and enforce coding standards, accessibility guidelines, and quality controls across the frontend codebaseUse Git and GitLab for version control, branching strategies, and merge request workflowsTroubleshoot complex UI issues across environments, platforms, and browsers, providing root-cause analysis and actionable remediationOperate within AWS cloud-hosted environments and support integration, deployments, and environment troubleshootingPromote a culture of high-quality engineering through code reviews, design reviews, and knowledge-sharing sessionsSupport planning, estimation, and architectural discussions for new features and modernization effortsPartner with teams to ensure frontend solutions meet accessibility, security, and performance requirementsReview code and container scans and remediate both code and package vulnerabilities on a regular basisQualificationActive Top-Secret Security ClearanceBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.Minimum 8+ years of experience developing modern frontend applications using React, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.jsAdvanced experience building UI components with HTML, CSS, Sass, and responsive design frameworksStrong experience integrating with REST APIs and working with JSON and XML data formatsProficiency with Git and GitLab for source control, collaboration, and code review workflowsAbility to design, refactor, and maintain scalable frontend architectures in cloud environments (AWS preferred)Deep understanding of frontend performance optimization, browser behavior, debugging techniques, and application profilingDemonstrated ability to mentor developers and lead best-practice discussions across the engineering teamExperience building cloud-native solutions in AWSExperience with YAML and CI/CD pipeline development (GitLab CI preferred)Experience with package scan vulnerability remediationExperience with integration with.NET APIs or full stack environmentsExcellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical decisions and collaborate with cross-functional teamsBonus Points if you have:Experience with automated UI testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress)Familiarity with accessibility standards (Section 508, WCAG)Familiarity with JFrog ArtifactoryFamiliarity with Jira for DevOpsAbout E-INFOSOLE-INFOSOL is a Service Disabled and Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) located in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.
