Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough behavioral health assessments to understand the unique challenges faced by Black birthing families and develop appropriate treatment plans.

• Provide direct counseling and case management services, helping clients navigate emotional, physical, and social barriers related to pregnancy and postpartum experiences.
\n
• Consult with multidisciplinary prenatal care teams—including medical providers, midwives, and lactation specialists—to ensure comprehensive care and treatment for clients.
\n
• Co-facilitate childbirth education and postpartum peer support groups, creating a nurturing space for families to share experiences and resources.
\n
• Engage in community outreach initiatives aimed at promoting holistic wellness and building supportive networks among birthing individuals and families.
\n
• Participate actively in clinical consultation and co-learning spaces to enhance your skills and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with organizational standards and ensure confidentiality for all clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is to support Black birthing families, recognizing the unique socioeconomic and cultural factors that influence their mental health. By building trust and understanding, you will help these families achieve their full potential through tailored behavior health strategies. Your work will directly impact their emotional well-being, strengthening familial bonds and community connections.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s degree in a behavioral science or related field from an accredited institution.

• Valid licensure in California as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC.

• Demonstrated ability to work independently while being an effective team player.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and a commitment to professional relationships with diverse staff and clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n
