Work Environment\n

This position operates entirely in a telehealth setting, offering full-time flexibility to accommodate your schedule while meeting the needs of our patients. This work-from-home model combines the latest technology with compassionate care, allowing you to focus on therapy without the constraints of a traditional office. While the core work schedule is Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, there may be some flexibility required to accommodate our patients’ varying needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments that integrate cultural factors, leading to client-centered treatment planning tailored to each individual's experiences.

• Implement individual, family, and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based interventions designed to address unique mental health concerns.

• Work with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure seamless coordination of care and promote comprehensive treatment for clients.

• Provide crisis intervention services during mental health emergencies, demonstrating strong analytical and de-escalation skills.

• Educate clients and their families regarding mental health conditions, treatments, and available resources in the community.

• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation in compliance with HIPAA and ethical standards, ensuring accuracy and security in electronic health records (EHR).

• Engage in continuous personal development, participating in team meetings and cultural competency training to enhance therapeutic effectiveness.

• Stay abreast of current research in mental health practices to integrate innovative strategies into your therapeutic approach.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid licensure as an LMFT, LCMHC, or LCSW in the state of New York.

• Deep understanding of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment modalities, and the ability to implement culturally responsive therapy.

• Experience providing individual and group therapy, demonstrating a commitment to inclusivity and culturally responsive practices.

• Strong crisis intervention skills and the capacity to manage stressful situations with professionalism.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, particularly in building rapport with a diverse clientele.

Compensation and Benefits\n

At Cape Hope Counseling Center, we offer a competitive yearly salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 100,000, reflecting your experience and expertise in the field.
