Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of clients' mental health status through initial assessments, including clinical interviews and standardized assessment tools.

The clientele at Great Lakes Counseling Center consists of individuals from various backgrounds and demographics, facing a wide array of mental health conditions. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will play a pivotal role in providing care to clients dealing with substance use disorders, anxiety, depression, trauma, and eating disorders, among other issues. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid state licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R.

• A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience in a mental health counseling setting.

• Comprehensive understanding of mental health disorders and familiarity with various treatment modalities, including cognitive-behavioral and solution-focused therapies.

• Strong crisis intervention skills and the ability to maintain composure in challenging situations.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, facilitating rapport-building with a diverse patient base.

Compensation and Benefits\n
