Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments and formulate detailed treatment plans tailored to individual client needs.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other modalities, to effectively address various mental health issues.

• Maintain consistent and thorough documentation of session notes and treatment progress, ensuring adherence to ethical standards and licensing requirements.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and educational institutions to coordinate care, leverage resources, and enhance service delivery.

• Provide ongoing support and crisis intervention as needed, tailored to each client’s situation.

• Engage in regular professional development activities to remain current with best practices in mental health counseling.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

We serve a diverse client base, including adolescents and adults experiencing challenges ranging from anxiety and depression to relationship issues and life transitions. Our counselors are expected to demonstrate sensitivity and adaptability to clients’ unique backgrounds and experiences, recognizing the importance of inclusivity and cultural competence in therapy.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s level degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or psychology from a regionally accredited university.

• An active, unrestricted mental health counseling license (LCSW, LMFT, LMHC, PsyD, PhD, etc.) that qualifies you to provide unsupervised mental health therapy services in the state of New York.

• A clean professional record with no disciplinary actions by licensing boards in any jurisdiction.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of experience in providing clinical psychotherapy, particularly engaging with adult populations.

• Strong expertise in CBT and other evidence-based practices.
\n
• Demonstrated proficiency in intake assessments, diagnostic practices, and individualized treatment planning.

• Excellent writing skills for the documentation of therapy sessions and treatment progress.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range between USD 70,000 and 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a lucrative salary, we offer a sign-on bonus, a health insurance stipend, and incentives tied to client engagement. Therapists can choose their own hours and can work independently as contracted professionals.
