SmileWorks Children’s Dentistry & Orthodontics is searching for an enthusiastic, detail-oriented Front Desk Coordinator to be the smiling face of our pediatric dental and orthodontic practice. If you’re organized, upbeat, and have experience running the front lines of a busy dental practice, we’d love to meet you! What You’ll Do Serve as the first point of contact for patients and families Manage patient check-in/check-out and the flow of the front office Schedule and confirm appointments to optimize provider schedules Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and guide patients through treatment logisticsVerify dental insurance eligibility and gather documentation Support the registration and intake process with speed and accuracy Ensure smooth day-to-day operations by following SmileWorks procedures and policies What You Bring Minimum of 3 years of front office experience in a dental practice (REQUIRED) Proven track record of exceptional customer service Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills High emotional intelligence and a positive, team-focused attitude Proficiency in dental scheduling and insurance verification Comfortable with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Familiarity with OpenDental, Dentrix, or other dental practice management software is a plus Experience in pediatric or orthodontic offices is a plus Benefits We Offer Full-time, Monday–Friday schedule (no weekends!) 401(k) with employer match Health, dental & vision insurance Paid time off & holidays Employee discounts Ongoing training and a supportive, growth-focused culture Additional Details Must be able to commute to our Tallahassee office Must be able to relocate before start date if moving from outside the area Join a team that celebrates smiles every day.
