Customer Service Representative / Pawn Broker Hybrid Store Schedule | $17–$21/hr | AdvancementOpportunity We are looking for a motivated, customer-focused PawnBroker to join our team. This is a hybrid store position , withregular scheduling between our Scottsdale and Glendale locations. Schedule & Locations Scottsdale: Saturdays and Mondays — part-time Glendale(85302): Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and 1 other day Scheduleconsisting of 5 days per week Reliabletransportation between locations is required. This is an in-person position . Room for Advancement We believe in developing our team from within. Afterapproximately 6-12 months , performance will be evaluated for theopportunity to advance into a Floating Key Carrier / Floating AssistantManager position. This opportunity is ideal for someone who wants to growbeyond a sales role and take on additional responsibility in store operationsand leadership. About the Role As a Pawn Broker, you'll be an important part of thecustomer experience, helping customers with pawn transactions, purchases, andsales while maintaining a professional and welcoming store environment. You'll evaluate merchandise, assist customers with loantransactions, handle cash and POS transactions, and help maintain an organizedand attractive storefront. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-pacedretail environment, enjoys interacting with a wide variety of customers, andhas strong communication and sales skills. Key Responsibilities Assessand appraise a variety of merchandise for pawning or purchase, consideringcondition, market value, and demand. Facilitatepawn loans by clearly explaining terms, determining loan amounts, andaccurately documenting transactions. Handlecash, payments, registers, and daily cashiering responsibilities withaccuracy. Providefriendly, professional customer service and build positive relationshipswith customers. Assistcustomers with merchandise selection and provide product recommendations. Conductproduct demonstrations and utilize upselling techniques to increase salesopportunities. OperatePOS systems for sales, returns, payments, inventory, and othertransactions. Maintainan organized and appealing sales floor through merchandising, stockingand product presentation. Assistwith inventory management, including stock counts and maintaining accuratemerchandise records. Maintainprofessional phone etiquette when communicating with customers, vendorsand suppliers. Followall company security procedures and help maintain a safe environment forcustomers and employees. Workeffectively as part of a team while maintaining a high level ofprofessionalism and integrity. What We're Looking For Experience Previousretail sales or customer service experience is highly desirable. 3+years of customer service experience preferred. Pawnshop, jewelry, resale, or similar retail experience is a plus. Groceryor other high-volume retail experience is highly transferable and valued. Experiencewith POS systems, cash handling, and retail transactions is preferred. Strongcommunication and interpersonal skills are essential. Abilityto multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment. Strongattention to detail and accuracy when handling merchandise, money, andtransactions. BilingualEnglish/Spanish abilities are a strong asset. Education Highschool diploma or equivalent preferred. Additional Requirements Mustbe 21 years of age or older . Reliabletransportation is required due to the hybrid store schedule. Mustbe comfortable working in person and traveling between the Scottsdale andGlendale locations as scheduled.
