Academic Scholar - Clinical Assistant/ Associate Professor HS, Department of Medicine and Department of Pediatrics Position Title Academic Scholar - Clinical Assistant/ Associate Professor HS, Department of Medicine and Department of Pediatrics The University at Buffalo (UB), Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, Department of Medicine and Department of Pediatrics, is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Internal Medicine-Pediatrics (Med‑Peds) Hospitalist for a full‑time academic position. This unique dual role offers the opportunity to practice both adult and pediatric hospital medicine at Buffalo General Medical Center and John R. Oishei Children’s Hospital, two premier institutions within the Kaleida Health system. Key Responsibilities Provide inpatient care to adult patients at Buffalo General Medical Center and pediatric patients at Oishei Children’s Hospital Participate in teaching and supervision of medical students and residents from the Jacobs School of Medicine Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a dynamic, academic, and patient‑centered environment Engage in scholarly activity, quality improvement, or clinical research as part of academic responsibilities Participate in departmental conferences, educational sessions, and faculty development opportunities Shared coverage of hospitalist services, including night and weekend responsibilities Why Join Us?
