What You'll Do:

• Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatments under the supervision of a Physical Therapist
• Assist with procedures like manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and supporting devices
• Monitor and assess patient progress, communicating updates to supervising PT to adjust treatment plans
• Document all treatments and patient responses accurately in electronic health records
• Support patient and family/caregiver education on physical health and recovery strategies
• Participate in care conferences, reviews, trainings, and team meetings
• Support and supervise students or interns under supervision

What You Need:

• Active state PTA licensure (if applicable)
• Previous experience in long-term care or rehab settings preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to follow clinical protocols and documentation standards

Preferred:

• Experience with diverse patient populations
• Knowledge of rehabilitative procedures and assistive device usage

About the Assignment:

This position involves supporting a team in delivering patient-centered rehabilitative services within a long-term care facility. The PTAs work closely with supervising Physical Therapists to help patients regain mobility and function, ensuring treatment aligns with clinical best practices and regulatory standards.
