Line Cook

Conejo, a new Mexican restaurant in Richmond, VA, is seeking part-time and full-time line cooks to join our kitchen team! Starting line cook wages of $19-$25/hour.

Responsibilities include:

learning all recipes, sourcing and cooking techniques
adhering to standards of quality, sanitation and safety protocols
cross training in all stations - tortilla, salad, plancha, sauté, and grill
assisting with inventory management
assisting with prep and dishwashing when needed

Celebrating the diverse richness of Mexican cuisine, Conejo is a full service restaurant featuring house milled heirloom corn and flour tortillas, ceviches, classic antojitos, and tacos. QUALIFICATIONS

Kitchen experience preferably in a high-volume restaurant
Safe, competent knife skills
Physically able to stand for the duration of your shift and lift up to 30 lbs
Experience with Mexican cooking a plus
