Job Description:

Seeking a Registered Nurse for the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) responsible for providing direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles. The ideal candidate will be equipped to handle various tasks and patient care objectives in a high-stakes environment.

Responsibilities:

Titrate drips, including any cardiac drip, insulin, and sedation.
Read, interpret, and document monitor strips.
Assist with RT equipment, including nasal cannulas to ventilators.
Floating to PCU and occasionally to MedSurg as needed.
Participate in unit-specific orientation and adhere to holiday and weekend requirements.

Requirements:

ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS Certifications required.
Driver's license required at submittal.
Compliance with fingernail policy and achievement of 90% on orientation exam.
License to submit required.
Experience with charting in EPIC is preferred.
