Your Core Responsibilities

As a 3D Generalist supporting immediate client operations, your daily “quest” involves:

• Technical Storytelling: Create high-quality 3D visualizations, both static and animated, that explain complex technical or scientific concepts. Your goal is to elevate standard presentations into compelling visual narratives.

• Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration: You will act as a creative bridge, working side-by-side with PowerPoint designers, lead engineers, and producers. You’ll ensure that every asset delivered is cohesive with the project’s technical requirements and aesthetic goals.

• Agile Execution: The consulting world moves fast. You must be prepared to respond to special requests and deliver high-quality assets under tight, often shifting timelines.

• Onsite Co-Creation: This role requires a regular onsite presence in Redmond. You will participate in “co-creation” sessions within lab and office environments, where real-time feedback from engineers is vital to the accuracy of your models.

• Asset Adaptation: Stay flexible to evolving project needs, including short-notice “rapid-fire” projects that require a high degree of adaptability.

Your Toolkit: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

We are looking for a visual powerhouse who is comfortable with both the artistic and technical sides of 3D production.

Technical Requirements:

• Proven Artistic Skill: A robust portfolio demonstrating excellence in 3D modeling, rendering, and animation. We need to see your ability to handle lighting, textures, and motion with precision.

• Software Proficiency: Expert knowledge of industry-standard 3D suites such as Blender, Maya, Cinema4D , or equivalent tools.

• Scientific Literacy: While not a requirement, experience working with technical or scientific subject matter is a major plus. You should be able to look at a technical schematic and envision its 3D representation.

• Project Management: The ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously without letting the quality of the final output slip.

Soft Skills:

• Communication: You must be able to communicate clearly with non-artists (like engineers and data scientists) to extract the necessary information for your designs.
