Practice Setting and Clinical Scope Join a respected healthcare facility providing comprehensive urology services. You will be the sole provider in a busy department, handling a typical patient volume of 20-25 per day and performing 20-30 surgeries monthly. The role encompasses a wide array of procedures, such as prostate biopsies, TURPs, uroflow studies, bladder scans, and more. While robotic capabilities are available, they are not a mandatory component of the role. Schedule and Assignment Details This locum tenens position is set in a hybrid clinic and call environment, with shifts from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., followed by potential night call from 5 p.m. to 8 a.m., and 24-hour call coverage as needed. The assignment requires a minimum commitment of three months, with the possibility of extending up to a year. The physician will need to cover approximately 80% of specified dates, ensuring flexibility in scheduling and support for the department's ongoing needs. Support and Work Environment Enjoy the benefits of a well-supported practice, with a team comprising two registered nurses, a medical assistant, a surgery scheduler, and two front office staff. The facility utilizes the Epic EMR system to streamline patient management and care coordination. Orientation and support from a clinic manager ensure that new providers are well-acquainted with the environment and expectations. Qualifications Board Certified in Urology or Truly Board Eligible (within 0-5 years post-residency completion). Active Washington State medical license or eligibility for IMLC with LOQ in hand. Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and DEA registration are required. Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a collegial team approach. Commitment to covering the majority of scheduled dates as detailed through February 2026.
