Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, you will be responsible for a variety of critical tasks, including but not limited to:

• Conducting thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories and determine the most effective treatment pathways.

• Developing, implementing, and adjusting individualized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery and resilience-building tailored to the specific needs of each patient.

• Providing therapeutic interventions grounded in evidence-based practices, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Leading both individual and group therapy sessions designed to facilitate trauma processing, develop coping strategies, and foster emotional healing.

• Collaborating with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive, integrated care that addresses the multifaceted needs of our patients.

• Delivering crisis intervention support during critical trauma-related emergencies while ensuring sensitivity and understanding.

• Educating patients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and resources to aid recovery.

• Maintaining accurate and nuanced documentation in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Engaging in team meetings, case consultations, and staying informed of the latest research and best practices related to trauma therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals affected by trauma, particularly those dealing with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will have the chance to closely work with patients from diverse backgrounds, each with unique experiences and needs, thus contributing significantly to their rehabilitation and resilience.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid licensure as a LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in Massachusetts.

• Strong foundational knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment methodologies.

• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and ethical skills, demonstrating a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to patient care.

• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiarity with relevant technology that enables remote care.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting is preferred, candidates with a demonstrated understanding of trauma-focused therapies and interventions will be prioritized. Experience working in community health settings or outpatient practices is a plus.
